Connected Oceans is a non-profit organisation that leads an international initiative to inform by science, educate on the issues and challenges related to oceanic ecosystem and raise awareness for needed to act for protection of our blue planet.

In order to achieve our objectives of sharing scientific knowledge and put science-based solutions into actions, we are working on 3 actions types :

We are deeply convinced that artistic projects are highly effective vehicles for exploring our emotions and question our relationship with the oceans.
We work for developing innovative artistic projects mixing arts and marine science, enabling to raise awareness of our vital link with the oceans health.

marine events and educational resources.
We want to be a showcase for all marine events existing all around the world which are crucial moments of connections and human interactions.
We also want to promote multiple scientific resources, to allow a larger discovering, a better understanding and greater sharing of scientific knowledge on marine ecosystems.
Bring to light oceanography and inspire Humanity.
We want to promote oceanographers all around the world in order to inspire humanity. We work to showcase the hard and rigorous scientific work they do at sea or in laboratories to better understand this blue expanse. We also advocate for a better representation of women in ocean sciences, by highlighting their careers and their qualities needed for the future.
